| A sumptuous gala evening of fine cuisine and cinema | |

The 21st Cork French Film festival organized by the Alliance Française in Cork, Ireland took place on March 5th, and showcased fine cuisine and cinema. During the gala dinner held at the Balllymaloe House restaurant, André Cointreau, President of Le Cordon Bleu and guest of honor at the event, presented an honorary diploma to Myrtle Allen, founder of the Ballymaloe cookery school in Cork, for her efforts promoting good food which have been remarkable in Ireland, Europe and globally.
